AUDITION NOTICE
Music & Lyrics by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul
Book by Peter Duchan
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
Set in 1963 San Francisco, Dogfight follows a group of Marines celebrating their last night of debauchery before shipping out to Vietnam. As part of their “Dogfight” tradition, each Marine puts in money to a pot, and the Marine who brings the “ugliest” date wins the cash. Eddie Birdlace, a young Marine, finds himself unexpectedly connecting with Rose Fenny, a waitress he initially intends to exploit. Their night takes unexpected turns as they navigate the complexities of attraction, empathy, and the looming shadow of war.
