Dave MacLean

FOUNDER & PRODUCER

Dave MacLean is the founding producer with JBM Theatre Co-Op, known for his collaborative spirit and commitment to community-driven theatre. He co-produced 13 the Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Seussical the Musical, The Wizard of Oz, and a vintage-style vaudeville revue. With a strong background in leadership and arts advocacy, Dave champions inclusive productions that celebrate emerging talent and creative risk-taking. His work reflects a belief that theatre not only entertains—it empowers, educates, and builds lasting connections.

Cathy Wilmot

DIRECTOR ~ Dogfight

Cathy Wilmot (she/they) is grateful to live, work, and create on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples. An interdisciplinary theatre artist and educator, Cathy is a proud faculty member in the Theatre Department at Capilano University and holds an MFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory.

Directing credits include Dracula, One Man Two Guvnors, The SpongeBob Musical, Carrie, Urinetown, and Secret In The Wings (CapU); Riverview High, The Vagina Monologues, and Theory of Relativity (Earth Stone, Boston); A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Fighting Chance); Seussical and The Little Mermaid (Kay Meek); as well as projects with Applause Musicals!, Metro Theatre, and the Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society.

Cathy has performed across Canada, the US, and the UK, as well as Fringe, PuSh and Revolver Festivals. They are a proud member of CAEA, NATS, VASTA, and CMFAA.

Taylor McKee

MUSICAL DIRECTOR ~ Dogfight

Taylor McKee is a performer, educator, and music director originally from Maple Ridge. She grew up performing musical theatre with companies such as Theatre Under the Stars, Bring On Tomorrow Co., and Awkward Stage Productions. She graduated as valedictorian from the music department at Langley Fine Arts School, and continued her musical studies at UBC. She spent her degree singing with the UBC University Singers and publishing research on music and psychology, before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Music with high distinction. In 2024, Taylor music directed Sherwood Theatre’s first production, Heathers the Musical, for which she was awarded a Canada Young Theatre Award for Outstanding Youth Leadership. She is passionate about challenging the ways we make art, and finding new ways to collaborate and is grateful to pass on her love of storytelling through music, teaching musical theatre at Terry Fox Secondary and Arts Umbrella.

Jaime MacLean

CHOREOGRAPHER ~ Dogfight

Jaime MacLean is an accomplished performer and choreographer from Maple Ridge, BC, currently in her third year at Sheridan College’s Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program.

Her professional theatre credits include starring as Matilda in the National Broadway touring productions of Matilda the Musical, Louisa in The Sound of Music, Small Alison in Fun Home and Young Cosette in Les Misérables at the Arts Club Theatre in Vancouver, Ginette in The Hockey Sweater at the National Arts Centre, and July & Annie u/s in London’s West End touring production of Annie with Mirvish Productions. Jaime’s early career also included playing Molly in Annie with Royal City Musical Theatre.

As a choreographer, Jaime has led dynamic productions of Bring It On, Chicago, and Mamma Mia at Heritage Woods Secondary in Port Moody. Her work is known for its energy, precision, innovation and ability to elevate performers.
